I hope to begin our adventures in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible on Sunday, May 14th! 🙂
For the start of Normal raiding the minimum ilevel will be 400. There will be one reset between Patch 10.1 going live and the raid opening so use the time before the patch and the first week to gear up if you are below this ilevel. If you are considering switching main make sure that you meet the minium ilevel and are otherwise prepared.
I would remind anyone thinking of switching that this is a good time to do so as there are easy catchups available as usual between raid tiers.
I am planning for and hope that we can start Dragonflight raiding on Sunday, December 18th. 😀
Pretty much 2 years to the day we first set foot in Castle Nathria it is time to begin our raiding endeavours in the Dragon Isles.
The Primalists breached the Titan prison used to hold the Incarnates for millennia. Within, Raszageth performs a foul ritual to unleash her siblings, so together they can purge the world of the Titans’ influence. The champions of Azeroth must assault this impregnable fortress and break their defenses to end this threat. While many could fall, defeat condemns all the realms to the Incarnates’ reign of fire and blood.
For this initial Dragonflight raid tier you should be looking at an absolute minimum ilevel of 350; I would suggest that 365 would probably be more appropriate so aim as high as you can get. I know that time is short hence the forgiving absolute minimum. Please make an effort to gear up to an appropriate level.
Crafted armor is available at ilevel 343 and is a good option for fresh 70s. Even normal instances drop ilevel 346 gear so getting to 350 should not require too much effort. Heroic instances drop ilvl 359 and Mythics drop ilvl 372. In the time we have left try to get as many as possible into as many runs as we can.
There are some big changes to loot in this expansion. Personal loot is gone and we are back to Group Loot. Make sure you read the updated T&Cs for Dragonflight to refamiliarize yourself with the loot rules and any other changes since you last looked at them.
I look forward to some fun raiding again with you all! 😀
